Or at least that is what they wrote.

Now I have my religious bashing out of the way. On to other things, hopefully. Just watched the lovely "The Social Network" movie staring our lovely Facebook that most of us all come to live with. As it goes my spell check wants to capatialise the 'f' in Facebook. Why, I don't know but make it so. Was a decent movie as it goes - full of friends backstabbing each other. This is what life is about - however we are not billionaires....

So what to next. I don't know. Melbourne cup tomorrow. Fun times ahead!

Onward and Upward

Well here I am almost a year on. Still nothing really published, however I have re drafted a few ideas that I had in my not posted yet section. A lot of things have changed, some haven't, such is life in general. New things; I have my ABN now and will start my buisness doing stuff and stuff and stuff...., I have a lovely mate also things are looking up, great mates and some new ones too.

So first things first. I am going to be just a sole trader for now but still need to sort out some invoiceing and the likes so I can get paid for the work that I have done. I will be looking at putting up a xtuple setup soon and have it backing up to my slice / amazon e3. Other than that apprenticeship is going awesomly awesomeness - however getting bored with me sitting on facebook all day doing not much waiting for the other fellers to catch up on. I will be back in the workplace next week for some fun times with the other apprentice.

Boats and lots of em. Over the past year I have neglected to tell the world about what I have been doing or not doing. Well as it stands I have ventured on the STS Young Endeavor and the STS Leeuwin II tall ships - that is going to be another story for now though.

New site, New layout, New way of LIFE.

Recently, and also a while ago, I have been involved in Youth Development schemes namely the Young Endeavour and the Leeuwin. It had all started probably with my older brother when he went on the Leeuwin when it was up here in Darwin on 2002 when I was about 13 or 14 years old. I had a show around on the ship and heard storey of how he met people and had so much fun onboard. At that stage I had though “I think I can do that, would be a blast and a once in a lifetime event” and well I went. Now i was going to say it was a once in a lifetime event, but that would be lying because the next year i went back as the cooks mate and again had a blast.

This first voyage brings back memories of finding myself in Google I was pretty stoked at the time of finding myself by typing “Dix, Krystin” from all sites in Australia – and surprisingly enough it still works! Here is the link that I had found http://newsroom.nt.gov.au/2004/20040607_stsleeuwin.shtml. I have mirrored this site here so that I will never loose it (hopefully).

Over the last 5 years since that first trip of discovery and learning I have forgotten most what I had found and learnt. Exploring on my last trip on the Young Endeavour I guess I had found what I promised myself and re-affirmed a lot of things. I am here, I am going forward, I am living in the now.
